Season 2024/25

# The 2024 Clements Cup - Season Opener

Brought to you by PIMMS and a rather stern look from the committee.

**Tue, 10 December 2024**, 14:30 GST · Safa Park, by the big tree

The nights are cooler, the lawn has been persuaded back to green, and the committee has been sworn to silence on the matter of last season’s “incident with the hoop”.

It can only mean one thing: the 2024 Clements Cup is upon us.

Our gallant Captain returns as the reigning world champion of Dubailand, and he would like it noted, in writing, that he has been practising. Ben has also been practising. We say this every year. It has never helped.

Expect the usual: whites of every conceivable shade, cucumber sandwiches cut into precisely the wrong shapes, and PIMMS poured with a generosity that borders on negligence.

**Mallet off @ 14:30, Safa Park, by the big tree.**

Rules are subject to change. The Captain’s word is final. So is the Captain’s word on the Captain’s word.
